What's Bridgerton About?

Adapted from Julia Quinn's bestselling historical romance novels, the series as a whole centers on the eight Bridgerton siblings (cleverly named in alphabetical order from oldest to youngest) — Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, and Hyacinth — and their quests for love. Set in the "ton," or Regency-era London high society, the second installment of Bridgerton shifts its focus from oldest-sister Daphne to eldest-brother Anthony, who serves as the surrogate patriarch of the Bridgerton family in the wake of his father's death. With Daphne happily married to Simon, the Duke of Hastings and having started her own family (depicted in season 1), it's now Anthony's turn to find true love.
